Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your Beads by Dalia piece. If something isn't right, here's how we can help.

Change of Mind

  • We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags/packaging intact.
  • Due to the handmade, small-batch nature of our pieces, sale items and custom orders are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
  • Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility.

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
  • We'll offer a replacement, repair, or full refund (including original shipping) — your choice.
  • Please note: natural variation in gemstones, pearls, and shells (colour, shape, size) is a feature of handmade jewellery, not a fault.

How to Request a Return

  1. Email [your email] or DM @beads.bydalia with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We'll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
  3. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Exchanges

  • Want a different size, style, or colour instead? Let us know when you reach out — we're happy to arrange an exchange where stock allows.

Custom & Wholesale Orders
Custom pieces are made specifically for you and are non-refundable unless faulty. Wholesale/consignment returns are handled per the terms agreed with each stockist.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage — this applies regardless of any timeframes listed above.
